KALINGANG KA-CEBUANA: Support for Vulnerable Sectors
At CLFI, we believe that no one should be left behind. Through our outreach program, Kalingang Ka-Cebuana, we extend compassion and support to some of the most vulnerable members of our society. Staying true to our theme “Lahat Kasama,” we periodically dedicate our time, resources, and care to uplift those who need it most — the elderly, abandoned children, youth in conflict with the law, women survivors, and many others.
Here are some of the lives we touch through this program:
Alkansya to Save Lives Project
In partnership with the PGH Medical Foundation, we launched the Alkansya to Save Lives Project to support the Charity Ward of the Philippine General Hospital. Over 300 coin banks were placed in selected Cebuana Lhuillier branches across NCR, inviting customers to drop their spare change — and help save lives. Every coin is a gesture of hope for patients in need.
Reception and Study Center for Children (RSCC)
RSCC is a haven for neglected, abandoned, abused, and exploited children under the care of the DSWD. Each year, CLFI grants the children's heartfelt wish lists, providing essentials and reminders that they are not forgotten — they are loved, protected, and seen.
Golden Reception and Action Center for the Elderly and Other Special Cases (GRACES)
During Valentine’s Day and Christmas, CLFI staff and scholars spend joyful moments with the elderly residents of GRACES. We sing, dance, share meals, and offer gifts — including entertainment appliances to help them create more moments of laughter and connection. Because aging should never mean being alone.
Molave Youth Home (Quezon City)
Molave Youth Home shelters children in conflict with the law who are seeking a second chance. CLFI provides food, home essentials, and most importantly, encouragement. Through our visits, we remind them that transformation is possible and that they are never beyond the reach of hope.
Bahay Aruga
Bahay Aruga serves as a free halfway home for pediatric cancer patients and their families, providing comfort for those who must travel to Manila for life-saving treatments. CLFI supports these young warriors and their loved ones with essential supplies, helping to ease their journey during difficult times.
Mount Banahaw Community
Nestled far from the city lights, the children of Mount Banahaw remain close to our hearts. We visit them with school supplies, essentials, and shared laughter — reminding them that they are part of a larger community that believes in their future.
Heart of Mary Villa
The Heart of Mary Villa offers a safe, nurturing environment for orphaned and abandoned babies. CLFI supports their mission to provide these little ones with loving care while they wait for foster or adoptive families, because every child deserves a future filled with hope.
PJLI Support Personnel
Every Christmas season, we honor the dedication and hard work of PJ Lhuillier Group’s support personnel. Through simple acts of gratitude, we recognize their important role in our journey and extend to them the warmth of family and appreciation.
