In 2024, we launched our Community Development Program in Sitio Labilab, Itogon, Benguet
— a community rich in cultural heritage but vulnerable to natural disasters, economic uncertainty,
and limited access to financial and educational opportunities.
We chose Itogon as our pilot site because it reflects the challenges and opportunities central to
CLFI’s mission of financial inclusion, empowerment, and resilience-building.
Through initiatives in financial literacy, sustainable livelihoods, and disaster resilience, CLFI
aims to equip the community with practical skills, economic opportunities, and access to financial
services that foster security, self-sufficiency, and long-term growth.
Our approach is collaborative, ensuring that solutions are co-created with the community to make
interventions relevant, impactful, and sustainable.
By achieving these, we envision Itogon not just as a beneficiary, but as a catalyst for community-driven development nationwide. This initiative demonstrates that when financial empowerment, education, and resilience are integrated, communities can rise above challenges and spark positive change for generations to come.
