We see education as a potent tool in uplifting the lives of the Filipinos. We see it as a great equalizer as it provides opportunities to the underprivileged and the vulnerable sectors so they can have a better life. Our programs are designed to provide as many Filipinos access to quality education.
We provide scholarships to deserving students who are unable to continue formal education due to financial difficulties. Since 2001, CLFI has been working with leading colleges and universities across the Philippines. As of July 2022, CLFI has awarded a total of 1,200 scholarship grants.
In partnership with the Department of Education, CLFI equips Alternative Learning System (ALS) nationwide to provide opportunities for out-of-school youth and adult learners to complete basic literacy all the way up to Junior High School level. As of July 2022, it has established 107 CLCs. The goal is to open more CLCs especially in the most remote locations.
