The Cebuana Lhuillier Foundation (CLFI) team successfully launched its 133rd supported ALS Center at Nueva Valencia Central School in Guimaras.

 
CLFI donated learning tools such as laptops, printers, smart TV, portable sound system, Wi-Fi routers, and load cards which will be beneficial to the currently enrolled 155 learners.
 
The turnover program was attended by Public Schools Division Supervisor of Nueva Valencia North District Dr. Nelia Lambarte, Chief Implementation Division Chief Dr. Rowena Carillo, former ALS Focal Person Jessie Gamlanga, Division ALS Focal Person Dr. Phoebe Ibieza, and ALS teachers Alvin Gamilong and Flordeliza Galve.
 
After the launch of the ALS Learning Center, CLFI Executive Director Jonathan Batangan and his team also paid a courtesy visit to Nueva Valencia Mayor Paul Vincent de la Cruz, in the presence of other local government officials.
 
While the team was in Guimaras, CLFI also visited the first supported ALS Center in the province – Cresente P. Chavez Central School (CPCCS) in Jordan.
 
During the visit, Batangan met with CPCCS Principal Dr. Thelma Ba-at, together with ALS Teacher Leoner Beatinggo who is a proud graduate of ALS and is now serving as one of the 25 ALS teachers in DepEd Guimaras.
