Cebuana Lhuillier Foundation Executive Director Jonathan Batangan recently led the turnover ceremonies for a set of information technology tools and equipment for Sta. Cruz Elementary School ALS Community Learning Center in Antipolo.

This is the 118th of the 119 learning centers that CLFI has so far supported for the ALS pogram of the Department of Education.

CLFI strongly believes in education as the key to a better future. It is for this reason that it has been supporting the Alternative Learning System program of the DepEd which gives hope to out-of-school youths and adults.

CLFI wants to acknowledge the following people for gracing the turnover event:

  • Dr. Cristina C. Salazar, CID chief (Schools Division Superintendent Representative)
  • Enrico C. De Guzman MD, Chairman Committee on Good Government Ethics and Public Accountability
  • Enrilito Bernardo, Dept. Head Public Information Office/City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office
  • Cirilo “Bebot” Tenorio, Brgy. Chairman
