Ito ang pahayag ni Dr. Jonathan Sadey, Public Schools District Supervisor ng Department of Education, noong ika-20 ng Pebrero 2023 sa inagurasyon ng Tuding ALS Community Learning Center sa Itogon, Benguet.
Nitong Pebrero 22, umakyat sa Itogon, Benguet province sina Jo-Ann Tacorda, chief administrative officer ng PJ Lhuillier Group of Companies, CLFI program development OIC Dave Mariano, at CLFI Education Section Head MJ Torne para pasinayaan ang pang-115 na ALS center na sinusuportahan ng CLFI.
Saksi sina Itogon Municipal Mayor Bernard Waclin, Barangay Tuding Captain Martin Chavez at ng mga opisyales ng DepEd Benguet Division office sa pagbibigay ng CLFI ng Information and Communications Technology (ICT) equipment para sa bagong ALS Learning Center sa Itogon.
“When I am hearing Cebuana Lhuillier, it’s all about business. But today, I am happy that Cebuana has a corporate social responsibility arm (Cebuana Lhuillier Foundation). Maraming-maraming salamat sa Cebuana sa mga tulong ninyo na hindi namin hiniling pero kusa ninyong ipinagkaloob sa amin. Education is one of the priorities of my administration. With Cebuana’s support for ALS, I vouch to give counterpart support from the municipal government of Itogon,” pangako ni Itogon Municipal Mayor Bernard Waclin.
“Isang napakalaking pagkakataon po sa amin sa Cebuana na mapaglingkuran ang ating ALS family dito sa Tuding. Kagaya nga po ng sariling pakahulugan ng aming President at CEO na si Jean Henri Lhuillier, ang ibig sabihin daw ng ALS ay ‘Always Love Schooling’.
“Nawa’y ang mga handog naming teaching equipment at learning materials ay makatulong sa pagpapaunlad ng ALS program sa inyong komunidad,” pahayag ni Jo-Ann Tacorda na Corporate Services Group Head ng Cebuana Lhuillier.
